Degollado Brothers (Gerardo and Javier), are artists who are inspired by pre-Columbian culture.
They recognize that prehispanic artists were great sculptors and they feel a special admiration for them and it gave birth to their sculptures full of sensitivity and great artistic beauty.
Today they are focused on recovering the artistic and cultural heritage, creating modern sculptures with pre-Columbian essentials. To do it, they use the “lost wax bronze technique”, one of the oldest ways, it was used by ancient Chinese, Egyptians and Greeks. Degollado brothers, with their inspiration and sensitivity have achieved making true artworks with this material.
